Acceptable Use Policy

Notify Vero exists for senders who care about deliverability, reputation, and respect for their audience. This policy keeps the network clean for everyone.

What you must do

• Send only to recipients who actively consented to hear from your brand.
• Maintain accurate sender identity, physical address, and a working unsubscribe link.
• Honour unsubscribe requests within 10 days (we do this for you automatically).
• Comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, and other applicable laws.

What you must not do

• Send unsolicited bulk email or purchased / scraped lists.
• Use deceptive subject lines, headers, or sender names.
• Promote illegal goods or services, malware, phishing, or fraud.
• Target minors with marketing content.
• Send sexually explicit material, hate speech, or content that incites violence.

Restricted industries

Some industries (gambling, crypto-affiliate, MLM, adult content, debt collection, pharmaceuticals) require pre-approval. Contact trust@notifyvero.com before sending.

Reputation thresholds

Sustained spam-complaint rates above 0.3% or hard-bounce rates above 5% will pause sending and trigger a review. We provide tooling to keep both well below these floors.

Enforcement

Violations lead to warnings, sending pauses, or account termination depending on severity. Severe abuse (phishing, malware, fraud) results in immediate termination without notice.
